These are a brilliant source of omega-3 fat ALA which helps active the enzyme pathways that are part of the fat metabolism process. Also known as essential fats, these actually lead to more efficient fat-burning and contribute to less overall fat storage. As a bonus, the high fibre content helps boost feelings of fullness.
Protein is a nutrient which helps us stay fuller for longer and contribute to metabolic levels and fat burning abilities.
Apples are a low GI fruit which contains a high level of pectin which is a soluble fibre that has been linked to help with weight loss. Diets high in soluble fibre tend to result in lower appetite levels, balanced blood sugar and increased fat metabolism.
