Granola – it’s healthy, versatile, tasty, filling and easy to make at home. Best thing is, making it at home allows you to perfect the texture and flavor exactly to your liking which allows you to experiment and create your own.


  • 100g hazelnuts
  • 100g raisins
  • 50g sunflower seeds
  • 50g pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 dessert spoon of Xylitol (granulated sugar substitute)


  1. Get a food processor and add the nuts, seeds, raisins, spice and Xylitol. Give them a whirl until they are coarsely chopped. You know you’re almost there, if it starts to look like granola
  2. Scoop the mixture out into a bowl or store in an airtight container and leave to settle if you want to eat it cold. Feel like having your granola warmed up? If so, place the mixture onto a baking tray and put it in the oven on a low setting and gently bake until hot
  3. That’s it – easy! We recommend serving up your granola with chopped fresh fruit for an added zing but feel free to dig in and enjoy the wholesome taste on its own

Remember there are no rules, you can add anything you want! If you fancy something sweet, think about throwing in some chopped banana, or maybe some organic cornflakes for added crunch. Discovered something delicious? Get in touch and let us know
